This week, the NSW Government announced that nine new contracts have been awarded to deliver cleaning services to approximately 4,200 government sites across the state, including schools, TAFE campuses and ambulance, police and fire stations.
Of the nine contracts, Facilities First have been successful in the Whole of Government Facility Management Services contract (Cleaning) within the Northern Sydney Region.
The contract awarded to Facilities First comprises a total of 173 School Sites and 120 Government Agency Sites.
Currently, Facilities First provides maintenance services to the region through the Whole of Government Asset Maintenance Contract.
With the addition of the Facility Management Services Contract (FMS), Facilities First have successfully doubled their footprint in the Northern Sydney Region.
The contract means sustainable and long-term growth for Facilities First, with the addition of over 700 employees being added to our team over the coming months to cater to the needs of the contract.

The contract is due to kick off March 1st 2019, with a great team coordinating the mobilisation of the project.
