Community — 23.11.18

Each year Mildura Rural City Council's hosts an annual White Ribbon Walk, in a bid to prevent violence against women.

This year the Facilities First team were humbled to join the community in the walk supporting a future free from violence and abuse.

The walk was led by Richmond Football Club Chief Executive and White Ribbon Ambassador Brendon Gale.

In an interview with Mildura Rural City Council, Richmond CEO Brendon Gale said he was incredibly proud to be a White Ribbon Ambassador.

“We hope through the work we do with our business, Aligned Leisure, that we can help bring to light a serious and widespread problem within Australia,” he said.

“Our aim is to raise awareness and to change the attitude and behaviours that support or excuse violence against women in this country.”
