Pioneered in Australia over 20 years ago, Facilities First have been dedicated to providing the highest quality of services to our clients and ensuring job satisfaction to our employees. Due to our loyal client base and an internal structure centred around strength, diversity, purpose, relationships and making a difference, we are now one of the fastest growing facility management service providers within the market. 

As a business, our roots began in the heart of Sydney providing cleaning services to some of the city’s oldest and most iconic hospitality venues. Two decades later, and a shift from TJS Services to Facilities First, we now employ over 650 direct staff, providing integrated services to these sectors: Government, Health and Aged care, Hospitality, Venues and Events, Commercial and Retail, Energy and Resources, Education and Training. 


TJS is born
Privately owned & offering a range of cleaning services, TJS gains their first client, an iconic hospitality venue in The Rocks.
Nationwide Expansion
TJS expands in Queensland, followed by South Australia, Victoria and Western Australia.
A step towards becoming a national provider
TJS picks up their first National contract with one of Australia’s largest Fitness & Leisure Groups.
Expanding to integrated services
First Integrated services contract won with an exclusive private school for cleaning, grounds and maintenance work.
National system implementation
TJS Invests in an integrated online platform, enhancing business compliance and operational efficiency.
TJS builds capability
TJS acquires NSW Construction Services Group, and takes on whole of government asset maintenance contract, working across 276 schools, 33 fire stations and 14 ambulance stations across South Western Sydney.
Yaanma is born
Our Indigenous sister company, established to close the gap and drive leadership and prosperity across Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
Investment in the future & growth of TJS
TJS receives 100% private investment, solidifying the company’s growing potential in the industry.
TJS builds further capability
TJS takes on further maintenance work and Doubles their footprint with the Whole of Government Asset Maintenance Contract.
