Northern Sydney Schools - Day Cleaners

We are currently looking for a number of reliable and experienced cleaners who are interested in joining our team. With an eye for detail and an ability to deliver exceptional service, you will work on a major government contract, cleaning schools and other government agencies in the Northern Sydney Region.

The role:

General cleaning of communal areas, classrooms and bathrooms before and after school hours
Supporting the Cleaning Supervisor to ensure contractual obligations are met and exceeded, reporting any issues on site to the Supervisor
Using a range of cleaning equipment, including brooms, mops and sponges, to restore a variety of surfaces to a clean and hygienic condition
Understanding of appropriate cleaning methods and chemical use
Adherence to strict Work, Health and Safety standards
Customer Service: Liaise daily with principals and clients

About you

Prior experience in a similar role is essential
Excellent presentation and professional acumen
A sound understanding of WH&S
Excellent communication skills
Confidence in customer service and a positive outlook
Valid work rights in Australia
Current Police Check and Working with Children check
Own transport is required
Certificate III in Cleaning Operations is desirable
Must have a working with children clearance
Short day shifts during school hours
May be required to work across multiple sites on same day
